For their wedding, Natalie and Kenny chose to bring their family and friends from around the world to the incredible Rippon Hall in Wanaka. Living in Hawaii, USA themselves, they knew from the get-go that they wanted to bring a Wanaka wedding planner on board to help with the logistics and local knowledge required in pulling off a stunning and seamless celebration.
It was so much fun working alongside these two beautiful souls, as we refined their styling, talked menu options and planned their day amid Skype calls watching the Hawaiian sunset and plenty of emails shared with a bonus pic of Willow included for the soon-to-be fur parents.
The purpose of the day was to share and celebrate in joy, love and appreciation for everyone in their lives, while also paying tribute to the incredible outdoors that has been a part of Nat and Kenny’s relationship from the beginning. Having been on plenty of kayaking adventures, hikes, camping trips to the Big Island and more, nature is a second home for these two and discovering such a beautiful part of the world alongside friends and family was such a special thing to do.
A big thank you to MicImage Weddings and Eureka Films for capturing the wonderful couple and day so beautifully 💕
CONGRATS!
A big congratulations again, Nat and Kenny! It was so incredible to be a part of your day and not only ease the stress of planning a wedding but to meet you both and find such beautiful souls that I can call friends. You deserve the absolutely world together and I am so SO happy that you have your very own fur baby now!!! I know you will be loving your local adventures, camping and boating and barbecuing and I wish you all the very best for your future together. Keep having fun, loads of laughs and a whole heap of love! xx

Ceremony
For the ceremony, we opted for quite simple styling to allow the incredible view to speak for itself. With the help of The Green Room Flower Co, we had a beautiful and minimal triangular arch with sweet floral nests at the base, and a simple greenery runner along the ceremony aisle. Kenny’s lovely aunty presented the ceremony for them, while Nat and Kenny’s uber talented friend looked after guitar and vocals to create a casual atmosphere for the afternoon.

Heli Adventure
After the ceremony, Kenny and I had organised a surprise helicopter flight for Nat. She was sooooo excited to be going up in a helicopter to the iconic lookout point of Coromandel Peak and we were also able to send her beautiful bridal party with them both. It’s fair to say everyone had a brilliant time and the photos were well and truly stunning!
